These two shows are both about hitmen/assassins. However, Killing Eve is a drama that is more about the toxic and obsessive relationship between Villanelle, the assassin, and Eve, the agent assigned to catch her. Meanwhile, Barry is a dark comedy about a hitman trying, and failing, to leave his life of killing in order to become an actor. So, which show is better, overall?

I love both shows, but I gotta give it up for "Barry." I love how the acting class and the hitman storylines play off each other. KE is great, but it's a bit less coherent and sometimes tries a bit too hard to play up Villanelle, imo - but that might be the fact that Villanelle is the ultimate extrovert, while Barry is a total introvert.
