Fox is stupid for sandwiching Deadpool in between Avengers and SOLO. WTH?

So according to artist Bill Sienkiewics when he was on Kevin Smith's podcast New Mutants has a new trailer and he said he liked it better then the old one. He said it kept the horror elements while feeling more like a marvel film. Didnt say when we would get it though. Just that it's still a thing and it's coming
EDIT: OOH I resurrected the wrong thread has to have been one more recent then this.

Looks cool, I hope its actually good and does well. Logan was great in part by transcending expectations of what a superhero movie could be. This might do the same by being a horror movie with superheroes.
Looks like they made Sunspot's origin similar to Rusty Collins (One of the more forgotten new mutants).

I've always been a big fan of Illyana, so getting to see her armor up with the Soul Sword, going through a stepping disc- that was worth the wait.
I really hope this is good. I have more hope for this movie than I did for Dark Phoenix, even with all of the delays.
very nice. I knew we wouldn't get the biggest lineup, but I'm glad they did at least have five people. I hope the film does commercially well enough, to not lead to "x-men/superheroes fatigue" headlines soon after.
Of course, I suspect this will be the "last" mutants film for several years, now that Disney-Marvel has full control. So the prospect of eventually seeing folks like Karma, Warlock, Cypher, and latter-day characters like Rictor, Boom Boom, and the Cable-era crew are virtually nonexistent now.
This definitely looks like a New Mutants movie.
I didn't know "Rahne" was pronounced "Rain."
I like how they adapted Roberto's magma form.
Illyana looks absolutely perfect visually, accent-wise, and personality-wise. And that's before we even get her teleporting with her armor and Soulsword. I also saw someone point out that Lockheed is blasting the Demon Bear on the left of the final shot.
Yeah, it doesn't look bad. Here's hoping all these delays and near-termination helped refine the quality.
I quite like the idea of, "what if you were in a horror movie, but you were armed with superpowers?" It's both wish fulfillment but it's also not clear just how those powers would help you, and so of course, it's terrifying at the same time.
