Larry Leiber, who'd been handling the weekday editions of the strip, has stepped down from the job after 30 years. Taking his place is Sunday Strip illustrator and daily inker Alex Saviuk, who has filled in for Larry on earlier adventures in 1999 and 2011, and most recently with a week of the Hulk and Lizard storyline in early 2018. Saviuk's regular stint will begin around September

Golden Claw's grand-niece, Suwan, has been in love with Jimmy Wuu since she was a child and she's not taking the news of Claw's involvement in his assassination attempt well. Someone on Comic Kingdom who knows his stuff about Wuu's history points out this has always been the case for this particular character since the 50s

Plot twist, Claw's niece has decided to help Peter, Coleen and Iron Fist!

Looks like Claw's niece is so thankful that Fist saved Jimmy Wuu's life that she's willing to tell him, Peter and Coleen her uncle and Fisk's whole plan!

Peter and Coleen are lead to the gangland rendezvous point...it's the Mammon theatre, the venue of MJ's hit play. Why do I get the feeling this place is going to end up being demolished and MJ left out of work?

Yep, I'm not the only one with these concerns, Peter has them too...he brings up the possibility of the theatre being destroyed when the Kingpin hatches his scheme, and if that happens, MJ will lose her main source of income. Coleen tells him there's more at stake than the fate of the theatre, to which Peter is forced to agree

I'd have been updating this a bit more frequently, but not much has really been happening..Peter, Iron Fist and Coleen managed to 'round up the mobsters with the help of the cops but had trouble pinpointing where Fisk and Golden Claw got to, then they headed to the roof to find they were escaping by helicopter. Peter snagged on to the edge of the chopper with his webbing and tried attaching a second webline to the roof of the theatre, but his web shooter jammed and now he's being taken up into the air, with Danny and Coleen pursuing him on foot.

Peter and Iron Fist's efforts to stop Fisk and Golden Claw has resulted in Fisk's helicopter entering a death sprial. Fisk and Claw escape using jet packs and Peter and Danny leap off the helicopter with a web parachute. They can't stop the 'chopper though, and it's headed for the roof of the Mammoth theatre. If it impacts the building, they'll be catastrophic damage and the main venue for MJ's play will have to undergo further repairs, and she's due back soon from her movie tour. Unless she gets another movie role offer, she'll be out of work!

wow. I had no idea that Iron Fist was a guest character for the current storyline, also Colleen Wing. This can't be a coincidence, with the Iron fist season 2 release a few weeks ago. Nice. I hope that Luke Cage is next.

Well...oh crud. It happened. Peter hopes that Coleen and the cops got out with the captive mobsters in time, as Fisk's helicopter crashes and explodes atop the theatre. Unless her play can be moved elsewhere, there goes MJ's main source of revenue

Hmm, so Fisk admits to Peter he's had help from a personal trainer to develop combat skills to "negate" Peter's powers...wonder if we'll learn who the trainer was?

Peter was going to reveal to Iron Fist who he was today but Danny told him not to.

Danny tells Peter he doesn't want to know his identity. He reckons that while he could afford bodyguards to protect his own identity if it ever became public, he's got a feeling Peter isn't as rich...and he name drops Bruce Wayne. He says the less people know Peter's identity, the better.
