Peter quoted Abe Linchon!
Peter quoted Abe Linchon!
Curt's back to normal, and Jameson's ecstatic, he reckons he's got a scoop
Jameson tells Peter he knows a secret that's "really secret", Peter thinks he's sussed his own identity
Jameson reveals what he knows...that Curt Connors is the Lizard (apparently not known to the public in this continuity)
So Billy Connors does exist in this continuity...and he's in college! (He's not aware of Curt's alter-ego though, Curt says he and his late wife kept it a secret from him)
Also, Bleeding Cool have landed a lengthy interview with newspaper strip authority Bruce Canwell

The display image comes from an Action Comics cover that had one of the many imaginary weddings that Superman and Lois Lane had over the years…
Peter may have been bluffing about being willing to leave Jonah alone in the everglades, but he still has to put his life on the line and fend off alligators to rescue him after leading him on. Fate conjures up some karma.
And Bruce has turned back into the Hulk again for virtually no reason
Jameson complains about the journey back to civilization taking hours, but Spidey assures him he's expecting someone, and he's soon proven right, their ride's here...and it's MJ!
Good save from MJ as she explains why she's in the everglades to Jameson...Peter requested she check in on Connors and she "traced" him here, Peter compliments her on the excuse.
Jameson's curious as to where Peter is, MJ tells him he's flying back to New York to continue taking photos for the Bugle (does this mean MJ wants Peter to go home while she completes the last leg of her Marvella II publicity tour?), Peter asks MJ whether Jameson will check where he flies from, MJ dismisses his concerns saying that Jameson's just a publisher, not an investigate reporter.
Looks like our latest adventure not only contains a certain martial artist with a fist of iron, but also another familiar character who has government ties. Anyone familiar with this character knows who I speak of.
Mary Jane has been written out for the time being, she'll finish off the rest of her publicity tour alone after telling Jameson Peter was returning to New York. She and Peter spent one last night together before he left. Upon getting back, Peter heard of Jimmy Wu's attack and told Robbie that he'd like to cover the story the way a journalist would...a little nod to developments in 616 maybe? Robbie gives Peter his blessing.
The guest characters continue to crop up...Doctor Christine Palmer showed up to have orderlies kick Peter out of the hospital
