I always hoped the Super Friends cartoon would have featured an anti-Legion of Doom comprised of resentful villains that didn't get asked to join the team lead by the Joker. I could see the group consisting of:

LOL. Exactly.
But a bit more endearing than either Gleek or Jar-Jar.
I think his over-confidence and desire to do things 'his way' would undermine them at every turn.
He'd probably be kept on the team, regardless, just to keep an eye on him, as he could potentially be a menace to them, also.
