The Gifted #3 eXodus Discussion (Spoilers)

Best episode so far, and preview for 4 looks really good too

I thought 1 let me down a bit and 2 was actually kind of mediocre

But 3 is really good

I hope the ratings are enough for at least a 2nd season, it looks like this show will get better over time

What a I liked:

-Polaris.
-The dad's turn was nice.
-Dreamer influencing Blink. I actually believe she regretted it the minute it happened. She accidentally projected her own feelings instead of focusing solely on Blink. I thought it was great actually! Gives the triangle a little twist which is needed for the trope.
-Caitlin's brother and son. Minor characters yet were still given some spotlight and shown as sympathetic. Giving due to even minor characters is a great sign.
-Polaris and Eclipse were cute.
-Thunderbird is stepping it up.
-Also, that Doctor/Scientist seemed like he was up to something sinister.

Really happy this show is showing some stability and hopefully more good episodes can be expected.

The Magnetosphere is created by the liquid metal moving super fast around the Earth’s center is the field that protects all life on Earth from being burned off by the sun and looking like Mars. In the comics it’s the energy that Polaris and Magneto for that matter taps into for powering up to world effecting levels.



The top of the Magnetosphere yes is where some solar wind manages to enter creating the Aurora.

Andy could become a great #TheGifted retelling of Magneto. You can just see the flatscan crushing coming.

I did like Andy showing Brotherhood signs...

Was annoyed by Sage being background when they were trying to escape on car. I thought "wow they're gonna have Sage help them escape using her skills" but she was just a background prop. They should've just left her out of that scene if they were gonna not use her.

When Dreamer messed w/ Blink it made me wonder how much of what anyone believes about Dreamer is even real or did she put that into their minds

this was a solid ep. Dreamer went from meh to the most interesting character for me tonight.

I hope Andy goes full dark and brotherhoody.

It's just an attempt to give her limitations. I assume it was b/c she is inside car she can't see the exterior or something of that nature

The family still remains the least interesting part of the show. I don't think anyone would mind if they were unceremoniously killed off.
