Thanks for that ed2962. I knew a bit about Dolly Parton's values before, but I think it managed to tie a lot of pieces together and put them in context.
Here is Delta Rae with "Hands Dirty", which I sort of see as a spiritual modern follower to "9 to 5".

Um... seriously? The videomaker thinks that having reforms for better working conditions is equivalent to 'full communism'? If you're going to make a video, you should try to at least have a passing knowledge of the subject matter you are covering. As a communist this makes me cringe so hard.
But also, a country musician being on the side of workers and the poor - WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT!?!?
