Shadiest things your favorite characters have done

Black Panther is a popular character, yet he done some shady things. We all have characters that we love, yet they have pulled some major crap. What have some of your favorite characters done that can be considered shady (emphasis on favorite, it isn't about people you hate)?

Note: If you can, do one each for DC and Marvel. You can also throw in people from other companies.

DC: Batman. He made plans to take the Justice League down.
Marvel: Wolverine. I love him, but he kept chasing after a married woman who didn't want him.
