Alan Moore’s Providence

I'm not much of a horror fan and think Lovecraft is disgusting as a person, but this was pretty solid. The patterns and connections between Moore's work are cool to spot and I'm waiting for a more complete collection before I buy it.

Reading the online annotations certainly helped me enjoy the comic, not sure I would be able to get through it otherwise. I am a fan of HP Lovecraft's work, I'm no expert, but I found it pretty fascinating. I found I had to read each issue many times along with the annotations before catching all the Easter eggs and nods and appreciating all the research that went into it, very dense, but an incredible comic by any stretch.
