Default Comics you want to see turned into TV SHOWS...

Since they're remaking Watchmen as a TV series how about a late night BBC4 V for Vendetta TV series that fleshes out the novel and some of the minor characters more. I hated how that movie became a flashy Matrix-style martial arts flick towards the end and ignored a lot of the anarcho-socialist beliefs of the novel.

    and YOUR picks?

The Question. Preferably not on the CW. Human Target could use a third chance.

Super Sons is practically begging to be an animated series.

Red Hood and the Outlaws (Rebirth version) would be a good series to put together. That way, you bring three not so well-known characters more into the lime-light, while still getting direct tie-ins to the main trinity of DC.

I could go for the Danger 5 guys doing something like Agents of Atlas. Although that has more to do with just wanting to see David Ashby and Dario Russo do something else again.

Locke & Key is on my list and it's coming, apparently.

I have to be careful what I wish for, because TV adaptations of comics pretty much always change too much for my liking. (Like Preacher... one of my favorite comics, but I don't have interest in the show.) I would love to see a faithful adaptation of Transmetropolitan, my favorite all-time comics series... but I shudder to think what would be done with it. Also, the budget would be so high that you'd pretty much have to do it as an animated show.

Fables would be a very good one... again, if you have the budget. It's perfectly structured to be an open-ended TV series with only a general through-line, and endless opportunities for add-on stories and spinoffs.

I'd love to see Paper Girls, but that's very plot specific without much room for freestyling by the writers.

Y: The Last Man would be a good one.

My biggest left-field choice, though, would be Hopeless Savages.

    Moon Knight

    Scalped

    southern Bastards

Y The Last Man (Is this still in the works somewhere??)

    Sixth Gun

    Hitman would be pretty wild....

I wish Marvel would have just saved Hawkeye for Netflix or something and done a show with him there...something more along the lines of the Fraction stuff...that kind of vibe to it.

Catwoman. Animated or live action. Either one works for me.
