I want a new Superman movie already. I loved the DCEU movies, despite their polarized reception, because their version of Superman has an unexpected level of humanity, moral conflict and emotional nuance not seen since the DCAU. Henry Cavill shows how much he cares about the character outside the cameras and the DC Films division definitely hit a homerun by hiring him. It would be a waste to see Superman get ignored in favor of other heroes simply because DC Films is afraid of what the fans might think. I think there are a lot of people who like what the DCEU is doing with Superman, so I think the DC Films people should just ignore the hating crowd and be more serious in adapting Superman to film again.

Seriously, Cavill? Of all the Superman books out there... For Tomorrow is your favorite?

Well, at least it's a more original choice than All-Star Superman.

Could be worse. He could have named something from the Chuck Austin run.
When it comes to comics, one person's "fan-service" is another persons personal cannon. So by definition it's ALL fan service. Aren't we ALL fans?

For Tomorrow has one of the most iconic Clois pages, Clois after sex scene and famous shot of Lois in Superman's cape, so I see what he did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm not too surprised. It gets a lot of hate but it's a very different kind of Superman story and digs into things a lot of comics don't think too deeply about. I see a lot of similarities between that story and Snyder's MoS that I'm too tired to articulate properly.

There's far worse tales out there. Lot of better ones too, but still far worse.

Ok For Tomorrow has been on my reading list for a while but that one sentence convinces me to finally get into it.

I thought the same thing. Controlling a large portion of the population, getting in Aquaman's face, etc.

Five years ago today, the Man of Steel soared across theater screens. Join me in the sun and let's celebrate this anniversary.

Starting with the Superman himself. Henry Cavil.
