Anyone dressing up as DC characters for Halloween?

I haven't dressed up as a comic book character since sometime before Zero Hour (back in the early 1990s).

I will probably stick with my Jay Garrick costume I wore at DragonCon.

I went as black suit Superman. Only found one other dude dressed the same, I'll upload that picture later.

Sick, color scheme is spot on. Hard to pull off. Great boots too. Not sure if you're a fan but a bit of face paint could go a long way with the rest of that!

Thanks!! It's got the full face mask, but it was vetoed by my wife because the kids were too scared. IMG_1034.jpg

I could see though how facepaint would be better so you could still see the facial features.

And if you do decide to go with facepaint, I recommend Kryolan Aquacolor. It's what I use for my Slobo cosplay and it works great.

I'm definitely a fan...I'm one of the suckers who paid Austinbooks $18 for an eBay copy of MM #1. I was a couple months behind and by the time I went to the shop they were long gone. I also bought the 1-18 original run D.C. collection. I still haven't opened it yet, but I'm sure it's going to be a delight.
I really dug the scene (#2 maybe?) where he climbed up the scaffolding and got into the box. That was super. I'm really hoping D.C. will also collect The New Gods original run. I see on Amazon there's a $128 hardcover, but that's a bit beyond my budget. I'd certainly buy something similar to the MM collection.

Does that stuff come off pretty easy? I’m going to need something like that for my atom costume in may. I wear glasses so a mask would look stupid.
