Kind of a slow month for me overall. There are four #1s that look good though (Wytches, Rasputin, Birthright, and Goners) but I will trade wait on those. Only two trades I am interested in (COWL and Nailbiter).

Where the heck is Pretty Deadly? Also, I am so glad Five Ghosts is back with a new arc!

I'm getting concerned about Pretty Deadly myself. Other than that, big month for me. Of the new books, I'm only picking up Wytches. What about Copperhead 2 and Roche Limit 2? They both debut in September, but there is no mention of them in the October solicitations. Assuming we are getting 2nd issues of each of those series, I will be getting 16 Image books, 9 Valiant books, 2 Vertigo books, and 3 DC books.

That's a good point. Both of those series look good. Pretty Deadly has been out of the solicits for, what, 3 months now?

Edit: Oh hell, it's been since May since the 1st trade of Pretty Deadly came out.

    Sex.
    Nightworld.
    The Wicked + The Divine.

I'll try Wytches for sure, and thinking about Goners and Rasputin.

I read in an interview with Kelly Sue DeConnick that she and Emma Rios would get together for an arc, take a break, and then come back with another arc, and so on. So the format of the series may be something like one arc per year.

    Wicked & Divine
    Sex Criminals
    Outcast
    Southern Bastards

And I'll try Wytches and Goners.

Is the story set to be 5 issues or do you have more planned?

We're on the [Ed] Brubaker model. I'm sure nineteen million people have done this before him, but I'm gonna call it the Brubaker model because that's when I noticed it and I think he's done it exceptionally well -- it's an ongoing. We're going to do 5 issues and take a break, it will be a complete story, and then we will come back to it and keep going as long as the story schedule and finances allow.

Hey all! Looks like there was a glitch that, I think, is being fixed. But, ROCHE LIMIT #2 is most definitely coming out. Here's the cover and text!

    ROCHE LIMIT #2
    story: MICHAEL MORECI
    art / cover: VIC MALHOTRA

    OCTOBER 29 / 32 PAGES / FC / T+ / $3.50

Alex and Sonya forge a dangerous alliance as they work to find Bekkah. Meanwhile, Moscow moves to take control of the colony’s underworld, and three mysterious beings add to the mystery of Roche Limit.

    Imperial #3
    The Manhattan Projects #25
    Morning Glories #44
    Rat Queens #10
