Yeah, I guess Opal/Central/Keystone would tie for my #3.

Wasn't the entire Earth blown up at one point in the "Five Years Later..." LoSH run?

Well, the OP never said it had to be an EARTH city.

Then again, Johns blew up the Reboot Legion's entire universe in his f**king awful TT crossover so I guess you're really not safe anywhere in the universe.

Metropolis, if the rent wasn't wild.

    Atlantis would be rad.

That may be worse than Gotham on the danger scale!

I like living in New York so I'd probably live in a safer part of Gotham. If such a thing exists.

Maybe not though. Maybe I'll just go to Metropolis.

I'd like to have gone to college in Central though.

Midway and Coast seem best for road trips/vacations.

Depends which timeline's Neo Gotham. I was thinking DCAU version, not the one Eye tried to Conquer

Tim's neighborhood seemed pretty nice I guess, but good luck affording a place there.

Also, question for the OP I just thought of: Would living in these cities make comic book rules apply to us? Namely, would training ourselves for a year give us superhuman strength and skills by normal human standards, and make us qualified to be a vigilante? Because if so, the question for me becomes: How fast can I join the BatFamily?

Oh why not? Sure! Anything can happen in comic land
Go ahead and sign me up for the next lightning bolt in central or hard water inhalation in Garrick labs.

Well, if that's the case I'll get myself a ticket to Metropolis this afternoon.

By the end of next week I should have enough high-end alien tech scavenged from the alleys around the Avenue of Tomorrow to make myself a super-powered vigilante.

    Get one for me!

Being a pal/sidekick of Superman would be the coolest thing ever!

If i want a normal life Gotham is out of question. One good thing is a chance to meet Batman. That is awesome. But i may not live long. Metropolis is safer. But i agree about the high cost of living. Doesn't Power Girl live in New York city? Then one can live in the same city as 'Superman' and at the same time not be in the epicentre of mad scientists and alien invasions.

Yes! But Metropolis in the future seems to get attacked a bit. Perhaps a nice city on Xanthu, or Naltor? Even that city on Mars that Colossal Boy grew up on. Bgtzl sounds super-safe, but I'm not sure if a non-Bgtzln can live there...
