Default marvel loses Bendis to DC

I'm not the biggest fan of Bendis but this is a huge loss for Marvel.

But a gigantic gain for Tony Stark.

I can't believe he's leaving when he was finally on track again with Defenders, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones, and Iron Man all being great reads.

But I can see why. He's written comics for Marvel for almost two decades. Only I thing I wonder about is what will happen to his creator-owned series. Will he move them to Vertigo?

I guess this means Jessica Jones is cancelled, Defenders, Spider-Man and Iron Man will all get new writers, and Powers, yes, will go to Vertigo.

Assuming the veracity of this statement.

    Context is king.

X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!

Never thought I'd see the day Bendis would be DC exclusive.

I’m not a bendis fan but I really don’t know how to feel about this. In all honesty I wish it was Quesada that was leaving. Because that way we can finally undo one more day.

Absolutely shocking! It's been so long since we saw such a high profile shift like this!

Marvel has been losing all of their big talent and this seems like the final nail in the coffin.

Loosing bendis, buying fox, and announcing a new title in the same week. Life is good or going to be terrible 50/50 bet

Right? If that was announced back when CWII was happening or just some time ago, I would be super happy. But now I'm quite disappointed. JJ and Defenders are most probably gonna just be cancelled without him.

    Wow.

Marvel is so screwed now. He was the one big ticket name they had left.

    So...Bendis on Batman?

I'm guessing he wants to get in on the New Age of Heroes line that gives creators a cut, wonder if he will do something with the revamped Vertigo as well.

I honestly think losing Aaron to DC would be a bigger loss in 2017. I'm sad to see him leave Spider-Man but glad to see him off iron man.

I just hope he's not taking any of his regular artists with him.
    We need better comics
