I'd read the Batcow comic by him.
yes
no
maybe, depends
I just hope he doesn't wind up writing Catwoman next.
Sheesh the fact that at the time of this post, Yes and No are both at 46 votes each says something. lol
That said, him taking on a Gotham book is a definite maybe for me. It depends on who he is writing and who they are interacting with. For the most part I’m okay with his Tim, but I dislike his Damian.

Lol I juuuust saw how old this thread was. You lured me in when I was feeling chatty! How dare!

Bah, you know nobody ever checks the previous pages until after they post.
That said, since Bendis has been with DC awhile, I stand by my opinion.
“Fleeing through the labyrinths with the hordes of the living dead fast upon them;
Once again they found themselves trapped in front of the abyss.”
If Bendis does Tim, and completely separate from the others, and absolutely NO guest appearances by other Bat Family members, I could live with that.
Nope, no thanks. He'll give us his self insert daughter fanfiction character for the 4th time as the new robin.
His superman sucks, his justice league sucks, his young justice sucked, nothing he's written at DC has been any good at all and sales on all those books have tanked thanks to him.
Maybe try him on Green Arrow at least if that sucks it'll jst be forgotton about like most of the new 52 run.
If he does try out for a Bat book, it's not going to be for a second tier or third tier. And if he does get a first tier book he's going to break all the toys before leaving. I could see him working well on a Gotham City Central title or an Outsiders book (BL would be fine but I would be nervous about how he would handle Katana and Metamorpho).
Green Arrow is the perfect character for him and gives him more creative freedom than Batman. So I say, keep him on the GA side of the universe for now.
Bendis did a good job on Superman, and from what I hear his Batman Universe book was solid
