WTF... Why Half of the fans here want Bendis in Batman??
I heard once that he made one Weird Batman(Bruce form to act) in one comic that he made.
.
Ok, here's my quick take . Bendis on Batman or Detective absolutely Not !!!! I do Not want to see him writing Bruce Wayne !!!
It's bad enough how he dragged on the storylines on Superman & Action .
It took him like 1 1/2 years to come to a conclusion of sorts on Superman.
So no , his best work is behind him .

Oh Man , these polls are interesting ... I still say that after what Bendis did on Superman on 2 books , please no Bendis on Batman or Detective.
Actually at this point in his career , his best work is already behind him .
I did like his Daredevil run , I will say that.
Bendis is better at Marvel really , just my humble opinion.
I think Bendis has pretty much run his course at DC, This thread is 5 years old. I wouldn't be surprised if he heads out the door to take on projects elsewhere.
He's already taken his creator owned stuff to Dark Horse, though I wonder how sound that deal is with the recent sale.
Tamaki is writing a rock solid Detective Comics right now and I'm pretty happy with Zdarsky coming onto to Batman so I'd give Bendis his own book. Something of a spiritual successor to Gotham Central, where he can play with his toys and have his own little continuity but not affect the main books.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"
"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"
"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."
Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
I’d like to see him on something street level. I think he’d be pretty interesting on GA with Dinah. He seems to like them from his JL.
Has Bendis even had a single decent run since Ultimate Spider-man?
Even that declined, hard, after the first Miles volume.
