So, Bendis has never written any street-level masked heroes?

Wasn't he recently writing Defenders for Marvel with Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage & Jessica Jones?

Nope, Bendis isn't known for being a street level characters at all. If only he had written a famous and critical acclaimed Daredevil run, his breakthrough comic was a comic about seeing superheroes from the view point of cops like Powers, invented Jessica Jones or something to that effect then he would be famous for writing street level characters. Haven't you check the comic forums? All Bendis is doing is writing shitty Avengers stories.

I really enjoyed Detective Comics during the New 52/DCYou when there was so much attention given to Bullock and the Gotham P.D. side of the story.

Still wish DC would give us a new version of Gotham Central, even if it was just a regular back-up feature in Detective Comics.

(If they did it as a back-up feature and had a good writing and art team for that, I might start buying Detective Comics again on a regular basis.)
