I'm guessing Sublime is the villain personally. He's been hinted at orchestrating anti mutant prejudice earlier and it would be quite fitting if the villain who was responsible for killing Jean Grey via Xorn in the Morrison run would be the first adversary Jean faces against after her return.

I wonder if Astonishing is in the same situation that Doomsday Clock is in? Like, Doomsday Clock is ahead of everything else coming out from DC by a year and by the time it was supposed to end everything will have caught up. Only difference is that the different artists and not being 32 pages long means Astonishing comes out every month.
