These cases frequently boil down to "he said, she said." Nobody outside of those involved have any idea what happened.

That depends on whether or not more accusers step forward. Unless someone already has a bad history or a negative perception, it typically takes more than one accusation to do any lasting damage.

I was only referring Diesels case, that an accusation would probably hurt his career, whether or not the woman's story is true or not. If her story is true then he deserves it, if not...

I know VD's the famous guy, but why be more concerned for his interests than those of the alleged victim? Because if it's not true, sure - she's horrible, but if it is true, she's going to have a ton of people doubting her, being suspicious of her motives, (saying her story sounds "sketchy") and being more concerned for Vin and what this means for him than what it means for her. So, all things considered - which is that we know nothing - why choose to fall on that side?

The sad part is that Diesel probably doesn't see where there was anything wrong with it, that he was stating the obvious. But he did it three times during the interview, and there was her statement that it made her very uncomfortable, especially since, every time she got it back on track, he eventually went there again, including standing up and moving very close to her before moving away again. The crew was probably uncomfortable too because many of them probably do find her attractive but have the consideration that observing is very different than making someone uncomfortable by actually saying it.

While this doesn't prove sexual battery of someone else, he did this in an interview surrounded by her crew. It does make you wonder what he would do when there was a situation with no witnesses.

It will likely depend on whether other accusers come forward.
