I'm pretty sure that DOA is a little bit more superhuman (and a lot more superhuman if you count Ninja Gaiden feats as being canon to the DOA franchise as well) than most Mortal Kombat participants, and her ability to teleport short distances and toss fairly large explosive blasts in cutscenes is sufficient to overwhelm anything that Kitana can bring into play. She's gotta be careful not to get hit by a fan, but she also seems significantly more agile than anyone I can think of in MK, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Kasumi. She has been the main star/winner of some of the DOA games while Kitana was a could be love interest of LIu Kang who got killed and zombied

I don't know either character, but based on what has been said in the thread, I'd bet on the teleporter firing out big stinking explosions over the one who is 10,000 years old.

Those 10,000 years of assassinating people didn't really seem to have given her skills beyond that of really talented mortals. Hell, she's explicitly below a few humans that are only a few years older than Kasumi, like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage, and roughly even with a modified clone of herself that is only a few years old in the current timeline (a fact that Kasumi will no doubt sympathize with her over).

And if you give Kasumi her Ninja Gaiden 3 gameplay feats, then almost every single one of her moves would count as a Brutality or Fatality, she'd be spamming kunai from long range, deflecting gunfire, and blurring/teleporting around the battlefield like the hypothetical love-child of Kabal and Scorpion.
