Thought people were saying that the editors had confirmed it was either Rogue or Gambit. Is Hellion even a big enough name to be a "fan favorite"? Just asking.

Hidden character must be Gambit. No reason to have Rogue there because team already have 2 tanks. Also Rogue has the same powers as Namor.

Ideally, Gold and Red should merge and get a proper writer, but since that's not happening and assuming Gold would stay the same, I'd like something like this for Red:

Jean
Storm
Iceman
Gambit
Wolverine (Laura)
Dust
Gentle

They'd be the international team while Gold stayed focused on the school. Armor would replace Storm there.
Blue would be replaced by something closer to Astonishing's line-up (Rogue, Psylocke, Angel, Bishop, Dazzler, Northstar etc).

I'm willing to ignore the atlantean presence this time around.
In general, if it wasn't for Jean, I would ignore that line-up: flat-lined my interest pretty efficiently.

That's definitely not as bad as I thought, and better than the other X-teams.
Now Nightcrawler shouldn't be here, unless he leaves Gold. Double team membership is cancer.
Nezhno and Laura being in the team, I wonder if Talylor will at long last allow Laura to interact with her old NXM friends.

I'm fine with Gabby but if this is an actual X-Men team, I hope she's just supporting cast. I've been waiting a LONG time for Laura to be put on an official X-Men proper and having Gabby there diminishes it a bit for me.

How so? There can only be one Wolverine clone on a team?

I personally think Gabby steals the show in ANW and I am excited to see her expand her social circle.

This forum days ago: the Gold and Blue line-ups are boring, stale and just nostalgia wank! Why do the authors never care about characters who were created after the 80's? I wanna see different characters interacting!

To be fair, the main criticism for Gold was the writer. For Blue it was the 05. Both critics were fair, since Gold is bland as hell and the 05 are still boring even if Bunn is on his A game.

What about AXM? Most of us were happy about the roster.
