Is anyone else reading this series? It's a sequel to a 4-issue series, just called St. Mercy, from about 3 years ago. The beautiful art really caught my eye, and the story revolved around Incan child sacrifice, which is pretty darn gruesome, but it was something that isn't explored in fiction much. The main character is noble, and even the victims in the story shine. Anyhow, I was happy to see the same writer and artist return for the 2nd series, though I had forgotten some story elements from the first series since it's been some time.

I realize the background element is likely a turnoff to some, but it's not glorified or anything. Anyone else give it a chance?
