As far as I'm concerned, Diana already IS as powerful as Clark. You have to look at the entire picture. Her strength, speed, and toughness are at least comparable to his. Then you add her weapons and that makes up for any shortcomings she may have.
Obviously, this discussion is more or less moot unless the writers and editors want to write her that way.

And here lies the problem, because it's useless to SAY a character is this powerful if what is SHOWN never backs it up.
Belief is nice, but it's just a wish for what you hope is true but can't prove.
Evidence is better.

There is plenty of evidence in past stories across multiple eras of DC publishing history. But this thread merely asked a poll question. I think you can find some of what you may be looking for in the Appreciation threads on the boards
