    1. Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm
    2. Batman (1943, the serial)
    3. Batman (1989)
    4. Batman Returns
    5. Batman Begins
    6. The Dark Knight
    ...I'm stopping here

Batman: The Movie (1966) is great, but I find it hard to compare it to the rest because it's a campy comedy.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

My Ranking (Leaving out Justice League and Batman and Harley Quinn which I haven't seen (And the latter of which I don't plan to see) and the EXCLUSIVE straight to DVD movies which are separate):

    14. Batman: The Killing Joke (It was in theaters, it counts)
    13. Batman v Superman
    12. The Dark Knight Rises
    11. Batman Returns
    10. Batman and Robin
    9. The Lego Batman Movie
    8. Suicide Squad
    7. Batman: The Movie
    6. Batman Forever
    5. The Dark Knight
    4. Batman
    3. Batman Begins
    2. The Lego Movie
    1. Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm

I should also mention that the only one of these I'd call legitimately great is Mask of the Phantasm, and I don't care at all for the films lower than 8th.

So only released in cinema, my ranking would be, and leaving Killing Joke out because I’m lazy:

    1-Dark Knight
    2-Dark Knight Rises
    3-Mask of the Phantasm
    4-Batman Begins
    5-Batman Returns
    6-Batman
    7-Batman V Superman
    8-Lego Movie
    9-Justice League
    10/11-Batman Forever/Suicide Squad, can’t decide!
    12-Batman & Robin
"The Batman is Gotham City. I will watch him. Study him. And when I know him and why he does not kill, I will know this city. And then Gotham will be MINE!"-BANE

"We're monsters, buddy. Plain and simple. I don't dress it up with fancy names like mutant or post-human; men were born crueler than Apes and we were born crueler than men. It's just the natural order of things"-ULTIMATE SABRETOOTH

I was tempted to put Dark Knight over Begins, but no matter how cool Ledger's Joker was, the movie is too bloated to top the tighter better Begins. Two-Face's new origin didn't help either and he contributed to the bloat.
