Not Brand Echh #14 "Forbush Man Returns Part 1 of 1"

I didn't know what to expect from this as I had never heard of Not Brand Echh or Forbush Man before but looking at it in the shop it reminded me of Mad Magazine and after finishing it I have got to say there were some pretty funny moments in this book. I wish this was an ongoing but the book itself points out how badly those tend to sell these days. To those who have read it what was your favorite joke or story?

The Secret Empire story was pretty funny especially considering Spencer himself wrote it though I have to say Deadpool's section while short was a really funny idea to do.

I remember them from way back. "The Kooky Quartet" (ff). "Darn Shadows" (spoof of Dark Shadows which was as popular as Marvel was back then)

Does anyone remember the horrid but silly spoof where Peter Parker and the Wasp become engaged? (or whatever it was).

Not a happy ending.... But you will laugh. (that darn ole' Aunt May!)

Have to nitpick here, Kookie Quartet was from DC's Inferior Five (NBE and What The had The Fantastical Four) and Darn Shadows was from Marvel's parody mag Spoof.
But NBE did in fact have Peter Pooper engaged to thw Wisp

Yeah, Marvel's Kooky Quartet is the second Avengers team - Steve Rogers, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Clint Barton. Not a parody spoof.

They should do NBE as an annual.

Looks like Daredevil should have paid a visit to what NBE calls the Direct Competition... both the F4 and Spidey look far too close to the official designs.
