I don’t think Namor should be connected to the X-men in any way shape or form. I want Jean with Scott and I honestly would like to figure out a way to retcon the entire Scott and Emma relationship. I hated that. Hat was just another dumbass Morrison add on that never made sense to me, like his entire run.

Ya they had him once part of it cause he wanted to explore his Mutant side, but I feel once he was finished with that you just don't see him being a full member. Maybe an Honorary member for X Events, and a guest star for training Mutants with water saving (though I guess that would fall under any young hero training)

Trying to think here of why though? Only one I can think of is Human Torch the first. Since they kinda have a love hat relationship. Or he was trying to let her down gently, Hope. Or it could be that red heads are too close to human form of Dorms and it would hurt to date someone that reminds him of her and that major failure.

Thought it was brown and red with some green. Huh? And it's... complicated. Luke he killed her first, she came back, they were happy, she went monster, he tried to plead with her, she eitherbasked him to end her or he was forced to. She's back again but with Alpha Flight and they have not met yet. My only guess is that he has final say as king so up to him if they are or not at this point.
