Generally, the past-most version of the Doctor forgets any future incarnations they encounter after they part ways.
So for example, Tennant has no memory of Smith and the War Doctor remembers neither which is why Eccleston’s Doctor thinks he destroyed Gallifrey, because he doesn’t remember the Day of the Doctor.
So Whitaker wouldn’t remember Ruth meeting Whitaker nor vice versa.
Only companions and the surrounding world remember multi-Doctor stories. It’s hazy for the Doctor.
Now, Ruth or Whitaker should remember being one another if they’re in sequence, assuming no mindwipes, but they wouldn’t remember meeting one another. And no Doctor remembers their future faces.
Same with the Master. Missy doesn't remember the events on the Mondasian ship, although it's possible a vague recollection about Cybermen led to the 3W plan.

I'm surprised by how low the consolidated viewing figures are. Barely a million more on top of the overnight viewers. I'm middle aged, one of the oldies, and even I don't watch anything live anymore. Are younger people waiting for a series to finish and then binge watching? More viewers were consolidated watching back when Capaldi had his final season three years ago. What's up?
I think it's mostly parts from the old-school console prop/room that they've used over the years since around 2013. Just lit differently and with new parts added.

This could be the stupidest idea or the coolest idea but the Monk should come back as a Sontaran in his next regeneration.
I'm rereading the 10th doctor comics and i like the side character of Cleo in the fountain of forever arc. I'd ship her and 10 .

There's an ad showing a "clean" Cybermen. Looks like an Invasion Cybermen-"Teardrop" eyes, with a mouth slit and big "headphones", but some features of the head look a bit different. Might be a new redesign, also bringing back the headphones look, which hasn't really been a feature of the new Cybermen, who seem to mainly feature the smaller heads similar to the early second Doctor era.
Moffat's season 8 Cybermen featured callbacks to that story too-them emerging near the church, and the Brigadier tossing the head of one of them.
Edit:
Here's the clip.

Basically they seem to still have the basic Nightmare in Silver chest design, but with the new heads that seem to be a mix between the Invasion and Earthshock/1980s design.

Any thoughts?
I don't fully agree- this is a common problem the series has had forever. Plus its a problem any long-running series ie Marvel/DC, Star Trek, Star Wars, Buffy etc is gonna have.
Yeah, as early as Hartnell there were many attempts to repeat the success of the Daleks with similar robots....also Tom Baker's The Android Invasion was practically an Auton story, right down to the finger guns.
When the Judoon first debuted they were thought of as being similar to the Sontarans with their outfits at least.
Plus the many godlike beings or time vortex monsters etc.
There's even similar stories in the same season sometimes. Rememberance of the Daleks and Silver Nemesis for example.

So is anyone the fan of The Rani?
She seems to be one of the most requested characters and I'm curious as to why.
She was OK in her first story where she was teamed with the Master, but her second story-also McCoy's debut-is considered one of Who's worst. And then of course there's Dimensions In Time.
Although some say the female evil time lord bit was kind of done with Missy, but the Rani isn't really just a female copy of the Master as she seems more to be generally more interested in bizzare experiments than controlling the world/universe or conspiring with evil alien races.
Maybe a male version could be interesting as well, but probably still too soon as we're pretty much back to the Doctor and the Master being the last time lords again.

The Monk has that same issue. Its easier to write him off as a discount version of the Master. If the Rani is The Master as a chick, then the Monk is the Master as a goofball.
I wished The Valeyard popped up in Matt Smith era. The Dream lord was a good tease but i wish they did more with it.
