From what I've read it's better than some fans expected it to be. Guess it's kind of a appetizer before the specials/season 14.

Probably because he's in BARBIE Rolling Stone UK had an interview and photoshoot with Ncuti, saying he's at least signed for two seasons. He said his Doctor is 'emotionally vulnerable' but I think that's kind of the case with most Doctors these days anyway, although it makes me wonder if something particularly bad happens during the specials, like Donna really dies (Presumably Wilf will pass away) or something about why the 13th/14th regeneration went the way it did.
Also confirms that he will switch his outfit often. Includes a picture of what most thought was going to be his "uniform".
Kind of makes me wonder if part of the third special ("Giggle") will have Tennant regenerate halfway through or earlier. It kind of looks like Christmas decorations on that window there....

Season 20 (Or as advertised in America, Peter Davison season two) has been announced as the new classic box set. Fitting, since it was an anniversary year. Not only that there's going to be a FIVE DOCTORS 3.0 with updated FX, including a new version of the Time Scope which has more of the original look but the three-dimensional CG of the "Casper" effect (As Terrance Dicks put it) from the original SE.
Also they got Martin Clunes to stop by for a Snakedance feature too.

New Publicity photos have come out, including a pic of Ncuti doing the Doctor pointing thing. Guess a new trailer is probably on the way, or they're trying to tie their marketing into Barbie which also has Ncuti in a supporting role (The pink TARDIS thing too).

They've unveiled the new sonic as well. Seems to have many of the design features of the RTD and Moffat Doctors but Jodie's "Sheffield steel" seems to be left out.

Recent interviews with Tennant have him stating that although the 'face' is back that his Doctor will be a bit different in part because he now has the experiences of the past three Doctors now.

Interesting that one version of the Once Upon A Time Lord cover features the Jodie logo while another features the "new" one, although without the diamond.

This is more of a question for Big Finish fans but the recent announcement trailer for the next DW Blu-ray set got me wondering. In the Gathering the Fifth Doctor remeets Tegan and (spoilers) it leaves Tegan in both a good and bad place. Good because she is happy where she is and bad because she is also left with an alien parasite still within her. Was that plot line resolved or was the parasite always meant to be the Kinda coming back as it did in the Kinda trilogy?

Big Finish announced that David Tennant will star in September's release of "Once and Future". 10 teams up with the paternoster gang in order to stop Missy invading Earth with Martian help( she's recruiting HG Wells's War of the Worlds).

August's entry would focus on Six meeting Jacky Tyler, and Lady Christine D'Souza while searching for the cause of his degeneration as a renegade Time Lord recruits Harry Sullivan for their own purposes.
So far the Once and Future event has been a fun episodic romp with each entry better than the last.

Big Finish announced their contribution towards the Doom's Day event. "Dying hours" comes out September 2023 and has Doom cross paths with 8, Charlie and Jackie Tyler.

9th Doctor Adventures: Travel in hope comes out today.
Think the canon of the Big Finish stuff and the Blu-ray mini-episodes are kind of up to fan's interpretation. Especially given Who's already shaky continuity in the first place in just the TV show.
Or could be alternate timelines too. One interesting thing about the recent 13th Doctor/Ace book, Childhood's End; it's contradicted by Power of the Doctor but the novel itself has a brief part where Ace sees multiple timeline versions of herself which share her many contradictory novel/comic/audio fates.
Or as Adric put it in Keeper of Traaken (reading the Doctor's diary):
DOCTOR: Ha, ha. Interesting stuff, isn't it?
ADRIC: If I could understand it.
DOCTOR: What?
ADRIC: Well, look. I read about something that's just happened.
DOCTOR: And?
ADRIC: The next page says it didn't happen at all.
DOCTOR: So?
ADRIC: Over the page says it did happen, but many years ago.

So I haven't read the 14th Doctor comics but I'm guessing that those and the upcoming specials won't deal with the Doctor recovering from his current regeneration. We've already had that with "Christmas Invasion" anyway.
Guess the reason is the Doctor's "used" to the Tennant body and persona so there's no real need for adjustment. Also not all regenerations have the Doctor requiring rest or having amnesia-Eleventh had the food thing and had a few jitters but otherwise was pretty much fully formed right away. Seventh Doctor also had the Rani's potion give him amnesia, not the regeneration, although I suppose one could say season 24 was him 'settling' because he was quite a bit different in seasons 25 and 26.
