Millie Gibson interview in the next DWM.

There's still no official confirmation of her leaving.

Using the Cybermen is interesting, seems RTD has said the traditional villains might take a break this season (similar to Jodie's first) but we've had Daleks in the DWM comic and the CIN short.

    And here it is.

-Yeah, the Beatles episode definetly is going to have some Doctor singing/dancing stuff going on.

....and doing the Beatles sidewalk cross!

-Domed city amidst a lot of foliage. Silurians?

    -Talking babies.

-More fuel to the London destroyed scene being a modern take on the Pyramid of Mars "1980" scene.

-A badass "Don't mess with the Doctor" speech: "Honey, I'm a much bigger bang than you bargained for. I will shatter this puny little battlefield into dust.In A heartbeat. Into dust." Some have said that's very likely from the Moffat episode-and it's certainly fitting his style with the eleventh and the twelfth's grand speeches (The "trap" thing, Pandorica, the Akhenatan showdown, Not a good man, "sit down and talk", and "Be kind" etc.

-Another new outfit-Doctor with a winter cap and yellow raincoat. Wonder if it's Sarah's old one from Sontaran Experiment and Genesis of the Daleks? Although I'm pretty sure that got lost on Skaro somewhere. Unless the Doctor picked it up somewhere (It's possible there was a missing adventure between Genesis and Cybermen because they screwed up the costume continuity anyway).

    Episode titles-

    1-Space Babies
    2-The Devil's Chord
    3-Boom
    4-73 Yards
    5. Dot And Bubble
    6.Rogue
    7-The Legend of Ruby Sunday
    8-Empire of Death

Devi's Chord is the Beatles, Boom is presumabely the Steven Moffat one. Empire of Death is also the title of a Past Doctor Adventure with the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, and Victorian England. Rogue appears to be the Regency one.

They're also all written by RTD with the exception of Boom and Rogue. Rogue is written by Kate Herron who previously worked with Ncuti on Sex Education I think, and also did a lot of work on Loki. Briorny Redman is co-writer, don't know much about her apart from her also working with Herron on the Sims movie.

Kind of wonder what the timey-wimey thing is going to be in BOOM (Moffat episode where the Doctor appears to step on a land mine).

Time loop (Which Moffat, RTD and Chibnall have all used)? Alternate universe where the Doctor dies and Ruby has to do something to undo it?(Similar to Turn Left?) Somebody just wedges a rock on it like in GENESIS OF THE DALEKS? It was a robot all along? Another weird regeneration, but this one allows him to remain Ncuti instead of Tennant?

Also seems to be we might have a buzzword for the season (apart from "Mavity")-TRIAD, which appeared a bit in the specials.

    https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Triad_Technology

Naturally it's partly an anagram of TARDIS as well but missing the S.

Could it be perhaps humans trying to reverse engineer Gallifreyan tech somehow? We've seen an alien race use it in THE WAR GAMES, with the War Chief's help; The Master has also used Gallifreyan tech in a few of his/her Earth-based ventures (Lazarus tech, 3W)

Also we've seen some aliens mess with the stolen regeneration tech a few times (Minyans, Mawdryn's group, Lazarus tech again, and of course it's kind of still canon the Time lords did it themselves)

River Song as well, sort of.

Ah I see, The Orphan Quartet was the last Diary but not necessarily the last of River Song. I wonder if they'll use a variation of her Diary theme in the new series...

Any of these take place past her death? She kind of lives in some kind of virtual world of course but she has at least one post-death appearance in The Name Of The Doctor (I think that's supposed to be her 'library data' form).

Kind of curious how she'd react to Donna getting her memories back, as the Doctor presumably told River about that at some point (Hence River's hesitation when they met), and Donna would probably about the know about the rest of River's story through her mental link to the Doctor or fourteen would just fill her in at some point (and of course River wasn't mentioned in the Toymaker's puppet show).

The first is titled "last words" and set after when she was uploaded into the library.

There's a short "one month" promo out. Nothing really special but it seems to show how the new scanner (TARDIS viewscreen) seems to work, two circular screens larger than the other roundels with the smaller one displaying some DNA information before turning into the new "retro" logo.

The sonic also functions as a remote in this case. Not sure if it's been done before for the actual TARDIS scanner itself.

Of course I think there's also still a smaller viewscreen on the console (Most recently used for "Your arms are too long"). The classic series sort of had that too but it was kind of built into the console most of the time and seemed mainly to show off some Atari-level computer graphics in a few of the JNT episodes.
