Empire magazine has a picture and some info on Jodie's finale (Now about a month away or so). Could be close to the regeneration-she seems to look a bit haggard. Curiously she's walking away from the TARDIS in some rocky area-wonder if this'll be the first new series Doctor regeneration that actually doesn't happen in it?

It was long confirmed by the production team that the regeneration was taking place outside this time.

Also verified in the same Empire article is that they shot Jodie's regeneration all in one take and she does get a parting speech just like the other NuWho Doctors.

It's interesting that for the Doctor this hasn't happened since the Time War (Eighth to War on Karn).


Kind of wonder what RTD might do with the Time Lords. Leave them dead perhaps? We do have confirmation that the Cybermasters are back, so there's a potential loophole to restore the Time Lords.
