    Default Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani! Rudd gets a proton pack! Plus the original crew is back! I’m liking what I’m seeing so far.

This is good. An original story in a way , new people involved , and fire station.

Looks good so far, would have liked to see a few more ghosts in the trailer, but I can understand if they're saving them.

I bet Slimer is in the fire station somewhere. Peter becoming relunctant friends with Slimer would be a funny moment in this.

It's a teaser and the CGI for ghosts takes time. I'm sure it'll happen.

The movie was pushed because of the strikes, it was already in the can, they probably are saving them for other reasons.

    ^^^Kinda, yeah.
I liked it when they tackled things that were technically outside their job description.

Same with me. Not sure anything could catch my intrigue enough to see this sequel. Too much fan service in the first. Just wasn't compelling or familiar enough for me.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

That first part reminds me a bit too much of the trailers for GEOSTORM. (Never saw the full film, but the trailers showed a beach freezing up I think).

It's cool that they change settings with the rural small town in the last film but New York is sort of the heart of the franchise-even the 2016 kind of knew that.

I’m just glad to see more adults added to the cast and Rudd’s character officially joining the team. Overall I enjoyed Afterlife but I was tired of the Ghostbusters kid gang by the end.

I understand why they cast Finn Wolfhard. They wanted that Stranger Things bump from the younger audience. But his character was just a bland average Joe and I really hope his role is reduced in this one.
