I would love to see a series that explains and explores the origin of the Silurians and Sea Devils on a prehistoric Earth. We’ve seen precious little of their civilisation during their height of power to date and I could enjoy that. Failing that giving us the Paternoster Gang series we were denied.

Was watching V for Vendetta and when I got to the scene where V was describing how Norsefire came to power he's looks and sounds like John Hurt a little who ironically was in the film as Sutler. So, it popped into my head Hugo Weaver would make a good recast IMO of the War Doctor if they ever wanted to use the character again.

So, it popped into my head Hugo Weaver would make a good recast IMO of the War Doctor if they ever wanted to use the character again.

I've always thought Weaver would be an interesting choice for the Doctor in general so I'd be cool with that.

Ian Levine has confirmed that UK Channel 5 has filmed a "Secrets and Scandals" Doctor Who special that includes interviews with him and Warris Hussein (who directed the first story), but has no idea of when it will air.

Eve Myles is doing a new trilogy of boxsets that continues the ongoing Torchwood series post Miracle Day alongside the previous boxsets. Whilst it’s nice to have Torchwood continue I wish that Big Finish would get on and uncancel John Barrowman already, enough time has passed since stuff he apologised for over a decade ago anyway, and Torchwood without Captain Jack is increasingly weird.

Aren't they treating Norton Folgate as a sort of...well, no one can replace Jack but more like filling the void? I have no idea how that's working out for the series, but Eve Myles returning is good if they're keeping Barrowman "cancelled".

It'd probably really stretch the budget as it would probably involve CG Dinosaurs too. As for their origins, they probably evolved from some branch of Dinosaur (There's some "What if?" theories out there that if the meteor didn't hit, "smarter" Dinosaurs could've evolved into a humanoid shape rather than birds).


Kind of wondering if a new spin-off could work. Of course we had Torchwood & SJA at the height of Nuwho's popularity but Class kind of fizzled out pretty quickly.

I'm kind of curious as to the context of his his "Someone tell me what the hell is going on here" clip in the preview. There's some that assume he's kind of stuck in the "Edge of existence" from power of the Doctor.
