    The Lion King prequel Mufasa about Mufasa and Scars' origins is happening anyone really want this?

    Not particularly. I mean, I was curious about it, but not enough for a whole movie. Even then, this should have come out 20+ years ago, and kept the 2D animation going. This could have been done with a graphic novel or something.

    Ya they were working on that LeFou show for awhile and that Prince Anders thing give it a rest already.

    I'm fine with it. There was an argument about remakes in the Little Mermaid thread, and I'd rather a movie expanding lore than one that just does the same story over again with minor changes.

    The previous live action made over $1.6 billion, so I'm sure this one will do very well too.

    Disney’s clout when it comes to box office is in a veeerrrry different place than it was 5 years ago
