Maybe it's some alternate Rory, but given that Doctor Who has often cast the same actors in different roles ("Fires of Pompeii" of course being the big one with Karen and Peter but also going back to Colin Baker, and even Tennant himself did a few audios in supporting roles before becoming Doctor) it's probably just something like that.

The description literally says "Legend tells of the Lone Centurion - a mysterious figure dressed as a Roman soldier who stood guard over the Pandorica, warning off those who would attempt to open it; a constant warrior whose story appeared in the folk history of a dozen civilisations."

Its "our" Rory or why bother having him in a spinoff at all, but its not a hill I'll die on so have at it. I'm just glad Big Finish sees fit to spin off the various Who characters from time to time. Enjoying Missy and been meaning to get Jenny at some point.

I'm admittingly behind big time on Big Finish, have the tenth and fourth interacted before? It's kind of interesting since they're arguably the best-known Doctors to mainstream audiences.

I don't think they have. They were both in Legacy of Time but they didn't share a scene together.

This seems to be the first time they share the same story. Unlike the 10/8 which is parallel but separate adventures, out of time has 4 and 10 meeting.
