The most recent ones (The Macra Terror, Faceless Ones, and Fury from the Deep) have been really fun and well animated. I expect Evil will be of a similarly strong standard.

I am one of those Classic fans at times almost obsessed a bit with the topic of the missing episodes, so these animated releases are a big deal for me. I also follow lost shows and (silent) films (unrelated to Doctor Who), so the interests are all connected a bit.
I haven't watched any of those yet.

I'll have to check them out.

Big Finish has just announced a Ninth season for River Song where she’s teaming up with Classic UNIT and both the Brigadier and Liz Shaw.

    Arrow

My friend tells us why he stopped watching New Who (not what you may think) and what he feels makes a good hero -

So they'll introduce the new companion but also there will be a "very special guest".

Any thoughts on who it could be? The article guesses it might be Alex Kingston (River) or Dhawan (Master), although I suppose it could be the Ruth Doctor again, or something else entirely.

Also I figure we'll probably get some news on the next season and maybe a trailer-I think they've probably filmed enough now for that, although the pandemic might've slowed things down or delayed them.

My guess would be the Master if it is for the series.

The article I read earlier today seemed to think this was a Comic-Con guest, not for the series.

This one appears sourced better than what I read.

Started reading Sophie Aldred's 13th Doctor/Ace novel at Childhood's End.

Kind of fun that it kind of features references' to Ace's different and often contradictory fates in comics, novels, and audios (and even drops a Benny reference I think, referring to a dark-haired woman she's drinking wine with in the TARDIS). It also has "Squeak" from Survival, and as sort of an in-joke has her life based on her actress, Adele Silva, who became a popular model and actress, although for some reason there doesn't seem to be any reference to her older brother dying, at least not yet.

It's more common than you think. The Timeless child retcon seems to be the last straw for most fans.

I can't quite put my finger on it but something seems a bit off about it.
The Gypsies had no home. The Doors had no bass.

Does our reality determine our fiction or does our fiction determine our reality?

Whenever the question comes up about who some mysterious person is or who is behind something the answer will always be Frank Stallone.

It's unclear whether this will be recurring. Kind of wonder if it's sort of a stand in for Barrowman/Jack....

I'm hoping Dan turns out to be the Monk in disguise. It's a fun way to reintroduce the character and play with the companion trope. It's just a common fan theory that I saw kn YouTube and I liked it.

    Vinder seems cool.

New trailer. Mostly just the Doctor and co., no sign of that many monsters, returning or not.
