She’s the person behind Gentleman Jack so I assume her writing a LBGT friendly female Doctor is more likely if true. Lonely Assassins is getting released on Console (or at least PS4 and PS5)! Hopefully when Edge of Reality gets released next month they'll be in a decently priced bundle.

It appears there might be a wildcard in the choice for the new showrunner. I don't believe he will get the job but Michael J. Straczynski is actively pursuing the BBC for it. He is an admitted fan of the show and has stated he would remain true to its British roots. He would not be the first non British showrunner but imagine the possibilities.
