Has it ever been established if Chibnall was a fan of the Davison era? I know he appeared on TV to give some thoughts on Trial of a Time Lord in the 80's but I haven't read much about his own classic WHO preferences.

The early part of this video reminded me of your statement.

Hayley would have killed it. Either save her for a future regeneration or, bring back Romana already and have her play her.

My 4 top choices are those 2 followed by Alexander Siddig and the actor who played Fitz on AoS who name I'm blanking on right now. He sold me when he played the evil Fitz in the Framework.

Also Broadchurch is fantastic and Chibnall wrote some good Who stories I went into his tenure with High Hope's. But god they were dashed.
I was neutral to a woman playing the Doctor. Just never really thought about it before.

But someone pitched Ruth Wilson as the Doctor and that was great.

She would be great loved her on Luther. Her Atwell jeez I'm finally understanding the fangirls obsessions with Tennant and Smith.

    Lol ok.

Right now its easier to come up with material for 14 than 15 but that will change once the episode airs

I've read Rachel Weisz is a big fan of the show and could've made an interesting Doctor I think.

She also happens to be married to a man who also played an often recast British icon....

There are rumors that RTD is going to revamp the Dalek designs for season 14, something attempted during Moffat of course but didn't stick (Of course Jodie had the recon/drone Daleks but I don't think they were ever intended to replace the 2005 versions).

Russel and Big Finish have managed to grab hold of Kate Winslet, she will reunite with the cast of the 1990s kids drama Dark Season, the show she made her acting debut in, and perform all new stories for the range mentoring a new cast of characters

"The Knight, the fool and the Dead" by Stephen Cole is a great read and feels like a lost Doctor Who episode. I'm looking forward to it's sequel "All Flesh is Glass" by Una McCormick.

So Jodie's "Blossomest Blossom" line-Some think it's a reference to something Dennis Potter said before his death, but did anyone think it was possibly a call-back to the Doctor's anecdote in Time Monster ("The Daisyist daisy")

"All Flesh is Grass" is a good read. I'm hope we get more of these events in the future.

Someone upload 14's first comic strip from DW magazine. I'm hoping Titan Comics follows suit and gives him a miniseries.

Kind of curious if the companion will be something for Tennant's specials (Is Tate confirmed for all of them?) or Ncuti's first.
