Thanks, I thought it's higher. I didn't know there are incomplete versions. Mine is an eighth edition published in 2006.
Hi to everybody here as I am new to this forum.
I have discover these HC comics threads this week and it's exactly what I was after in English speaking form (I am French), i.e. a reliable source of past/present/forthcoming beautiful collected editions. I am really impressed by the work done on these DC/Marvel/Others topics and many thanks for that!
But back to shelf porn. As I collects mainly by authors instead of by publishers or series (except Conan) my collection is organized accordingly. And regarding absolute/deluxe/oversized edition I focus on my favorite five at the moment (Mills, Moore, Mignola, Miller, Whedon).
Problem is I have two small children and two cats, and being more and more maniac with these books (I use gloves!) I have decided two years ago to stock them where they will be protected from small hands, pawns and light. Therefore it is quite difficult to display them or even consult one of the book.
To solve this issue I have decided to have an online shelve for these books here http://myabsolutecollection.blogspot...avigation.html.
But to be fair I am a little jealous of your "physical" shelve (especially Martin's one) so perhaps one day I will be able to put them properly in display in my house like I do for my current collection (pictures will follow as soon as there will be more sun to take them).

Welcome
Love your blog, I'm extremely jealous of your Franquin Fascimile editions
Reading: Batman by Morrison, Death note, Inhumans, Sleeper
The plural of Omnibus is Omniboo
Thanks everybody for all your kind words!
Now the not so good looking part of my collection as they are mostly made of individual issues, beginning with my favorite authors shelve (both French and English speaking language, even more for Pat Mills works):

Yep welcome vark. I've seen your website before and it's a fantastic resource. The pictures taken give a clear view of what to expect from a book.
Spirou, I had the chance to start collect them before the firsts one went OOP (I found Gaston #1 at a Virgin megastore while he was already OOP at the publisher), so I never had to use ebay where prices for the early ones are now insane. Although I had to dig almost a year to find the first Idees Noires. One day I have simply used the phone directory to contact comics retailer in all Switzerland and I eventually find a copy in Zurich at retailer price.
Now is my Franco-Belge collection (these are picture collages) and my French/English Conan collection:

Fourth row from the bottom is mainly where I stock my "patrimonial" French omnibii, mostly comics for kids (i.e. from when I was younger)
Third row from the bottom is mainly where I stock the single issues of these patrimonial French series (Asterix, gaston, Spirou, Tintin ..) available for my children
Second row from the bottom is where I stock other single "adult" comics books + the Godfresdon oversized omnibus collection (ongoing).
Bottom row is dedicated to my US Conan collection (all marvel King Conan + SSOC (not complete) +..+ dark horse series
