New house, new (partially built) comic shelves

Congratulations on the new house and nice shelves. They look very sturdy!

I will move in about 4 weeks as well and when I have the new setup ready, I will post a picture too.

Lol..... if you're talking about my books, yeah. I remove dust jackets wherever possible. The Marvel Premiere Editions in particular..... those are my classic stories from when I was a kid, so I don't mind that section having an institutional feel to it.

Looks great -- especially love those Colossal Conans down on the bottom shelf, there.

The Colossal Conan is my biggest regret not picking up. I had no clue at the time it would sell through so fast. I am jealous of each shelf I see with it. I will undoubtably be picking up the reprint of the Big Damn Sin City

Thanks.......the Big Damn Sin City is interesting.......got it used for $45. Not sure what the story was there but it's in perfect condition. I actually saw someone else listing thier copy a few weeks ago for $50. Crazy cheap. Colossal Conan's? Not so much lol.

Good job. The shelves came out great.

What kind of wood did you use for the shelf holding the books? I like how wide they are but would worry about some bowing over time.
