My soon to be wife is already a little bit anxious about just my book collection. We do have limited space where we are, before her stuff gets moved fully in, so I get that.

You used "we" in your video a few times, if your husband/SO, also into the same genre interests or do you/did you have talks about space/money mgmt for that awesome room?
I know I personally have to budget for what I get but I'll be doing so with a wife come this summer who is really a minimalist(she likes the movies/shows/toons) & I'm a collector. That would be our "opposites attract" angel I suppose.
Thank you so much!! My fiance isn't into this hobby per say, but he definitely tolerates it and has bought me a couple of things that are in there.

Its definitely a bookshelf, its actually a cheap crappy one from a discount store made from MDF. Though I chose it because it has much thicker shelving than they usually do and is not too wide so can handle the heavier books. Its nice and stable, we're a bit earthquake prone here haha, and haven't had any sagging problems.

Ah, gotcha. Looks cool, wish I could find something sturdier than what I have now

Hah, just left a comment in the video instead of leaving it here.

Most of these collections just make me seriously doubt posting mine, anticipating how underwhelming it'll probably be...

Ayeah - I had to abandon collecting Tod McFarlane toys, and their rip offs, for the same reason!!

I developped the same issue with my Todd McFarlane Toys, outa space; gave a few away and half of them are now just in crates!

You have an amazing collection. I like how you have it all set up. The statues are insanely good, especially the Batwoman. I'd love to have a large room like that to put all of my stuff up together.

Like you, I put my trades and HC's together first by publisher, then by character. So all of my Marvel comics are on one book case, then each shelf by character, etc. (when possible)

I wish my wife was into comics like you. Heck, I'd settle for her just reading comics period. Thanks for sharing!

Same here. These collections put mine to shame. I am in total awe of these

Here's my collection. A few years back, I decided to stop buying singles and get the trades. I also sent in some full runs of comics to get bound and have them back. I'm now in the process of swapping out my singles for the trades and will continue to get some bound. It's probably going to take a while yet and I don't know how I'm going to do it because I'm running out of space, but I'll figure something out.

    Here's my first book case:

“Now faith, hope, and love remain, and the greatest of these is love.”--1 Corinthians 13:13

    “You had a dream; I have a plan”--Cyclops

“There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.”--The Doctor

Here's my second book case. I have most of my bound books on this one:

“Now faith, hope, and love remain, and the greatest of these is love.”--1 Corinthians 13:13

    “You had a dream; I have a plan”--Cyclops

“There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.”--The Doctor

Here's the last two pics from the second book case:

Here's my third and final book case. I have all of my X-Men bound books on this one with all of my other X-Men books:

And finally, my 1/4 scale DD statue (my favorite):
