most of my collection is still in TPBs. But I'm going to be getting hardcover from now on whenever I can. It's just I often share books with my son, and I don't want to be giving him nice hardcover books to bring downstairs in fear that he'll bend them or do something to them. TPBs is just easier for me to part with to share.

Haha, It was a lucky find at Half Price Books.

Love it, love it, love it. Too much Marvel for me, but for display it's pure awesomness. That's why this thread is my favourite one.

Its hard not to buy Marvel with all the omnibus they're putting out plus the fear of not reprinting them.

I think I saw in the old forums someone with red shelves too, that inspired me to get one too.

They are from Barnes and Noble, they call them Collectible Editions series now.Very nice leatherbound books and cheap too.

The actual statue isn't from anything. The design on the bottle is by Mike Mignola, and signed by him. Supposedly only 60 of them were signed, but since it isn't numbered there isn't really a way to be sure/prove it.
