Wow, that Sin City book is unreal. The JSA omnis are huge, but that book is twice their size. I can't imagine trying to read that thing.

Very nice, Lago. As much as I like HCs, particularly oversized ones, I think that's an argument for TPBs right there. They look much more uniform and clean on the shelf since they all have exactly the same dimensions. There's also not that much experimentation with the spines.

I was just having a broke and noticed your 'The Black Magician' books, one of my favourite series, although both my paperback and hardback copies are worse off thanks to years of attic storage (I know...), and it brought my attention to the sequel trilogy which I was unaware of, so thank you!

This is my favourite thread, so I thought it might be about time that I got around to sharing my collection too.

I'll say upfront that I'm a little nervous doing so, as most people's look so neat and tidy, and mine is a bit of a mess. I'll admit right now that they need organising, and the more OCD among you will doubtless point out that many things are in the wrong place, but it is what it is for now. I'm working on it!

The other thing is that I seem to have taken a slightly different route to many of you. I'm seeing loads of really nice hardcover collections, especially the grand collections of omnis, and I'll admit that gives me a twinge of jealousy! I have a few omnis, but if I'm honest they've not been something I've pursued much to date (although I would LOVE those Daredevil and Annihilation books).

Instead, I've been obsessed for a while with collecting certain TPBs. These are mainly but not exclusively 1980s, and my other obsession has been getting the first printing of TPBs. I do like the hardcovers as well, and obviously they look a bit better on the shelf, but the thrill of the hunt for me is tracking down a scarce edition (ideally for not much money!).

Anyway, here goes:

This is the set up just now. I have a few boxes that I can't fit in, but hoping to get more shelves soon.
