First ohcs I bought were house of m set in 2010. I got fairly serious about the format around 2012. I also have a tub of manga but that is pretty much the complete Dragon ball and DBZ sets and my wife's stuff. Need more shelves.

Mike1981, it's technically dynamics not statics (at least one the force is applied to the bookcase to cause it to fall it becomes dynamics).

I totally agree with you on everything else you said.

I was initially thinking just a simple force balance on a static bookshelf.

It's been too long since I've done simple ME equations...

First time posting my collection. I'm fortunate enough to own my own home, so I'm able to dedicate an entire room to my collection. Most collections I have seen look fabulous with all the omnibus and Absolute Collections lined up together, but I try to have my collection in chronological reading order, as that is how I prefer to read comics.

    Marvel shelf:

    DC/Miscellaneous

    Dark Horse/IDW/Image

And before I was collecting comics, I was collecting movie-based collectibles, which quickly turned into collecting comic-based statues.

As a former collector of statues, that is an expensive collection I'm glad I stopped otherwise I'd have no money left, cool collection tho, but the books would drive me crazy

I love the chronological idea, I do it with all of my books except my omnibuses. They are all together for convenience and just the look a line up of massive books gives.
