Just found this site with shelf porn (or 'shelfies' as they call them) by various comic artists/writers via comicsbeat. I especially like Joe Keatinge's one, his Moebius collection is of the charts

I don't think "But first, let me take a shelfie..." will become a commonly used phrase, though.

I've been mulling over showing my book shelves for a while. It isnt much compared some of the collections shown here, but it used to be bigger. I tend to sell things off after a while if I realize I am not that into it or wont ever pick it up or recommend it to someone. So im constantly curating this thing and I hope to get to the point where I have a nice sized collection of books that are all great and any of them could be pulled out and read or borrowed by a friend.

This is my only bookcase at the moment. I filled it immediately upon buying it, as I apparently underestimated just how many books I had stacked up.

My overflow is on my mantle next to the bookcase. This is almost full as well now. I have Cannon on one side like this because it sticks out oddly due to its dimensions, and it just looks good. Jimmy Corrigan is on the other side like this for symmetry since it is kinda the same format. Ill replace thag with Blackhand Comics by Wes Craig or Guns of Shadow Valley when they arrive.

You're right. You keep that collection pretty trim. It must be very hard to decide on what to keep versus sell. How do you like those Mind Mgmt HC's? I haven't read mine, but I just love the unique design they have compared to the rest of my small collection.

So that blacked out book on the right must be the next project from him and Ed. Wonder what it's gonna be? My money is on a hard boiled crime story.

That Criminal book isn't something that's been released yet right?

Wow what a collection, so many good books and clearly a lot of influence on Phillips' art can be seen on those shelves too.

I wonder if he reads this forum...
