@ the rest, I have no clue how my picture ended up sideways..
It's a strange problem some members seem to have when posting images. No one knows why it happens.

My collection on two Billy Bookcases. A full size one and a half size one but I'm going to need another clearly. Not pictured are the Star Wars Omni and X-O Manowar Omni that I just got earlier this week. I took these pics a few weeks ago so this is about as updated as it can be.

Your top shelf, and top of your bookcase are sagging?

Yeah, I'm working on a fix. I've thought about placing a middle support in there. It's not that bad, the pic does for some reason exaggerate it though. I fear it could get worse if I don't do something but it's not actually that bad.
I've maneuvered the books around so as to try and have the lightest books in the middle.

My husband built our bookcases out of solid eucalyptus wood. It never occurred to me to worry about the weight of the books until I started reading reports here of people's shelves sagging. And then I saw a blog post someone posted where their entire unit collapsed.
Anyway, he reassured me that our shelves won't sag, but I still needed to pay attention to the distribution of weight of the books for different shelves, to keep the bookcase properly weighted.
And while we have five of them, I have only been given one of the cases to use for my books.
So, yeah, he's going to have to think about building some more because I have about 1.5 shelves left to fill.
And I refuse to buy shelving units from a store.

Simple things like middle support and bracers on the front do wonders to prevent sagging. I'm no carpenter so I don't know the proper terminology. A back is also great to prevent shifting.

Nice to see someone with a collection that's not 90% Marvel stuff.

Thanks! Yeah it's very rare on these forums haha (though I have no idea why!).

Because I have two DC omnibuses, and even though I find the paper a little thicker than that of the Marvel omnibuses, I honestly can say they feel of cheaper quality.
And I'd LOVE to collect all the archive editions (which I think are equivalent in quality to MMWs?), I find them hard to get a hold of. Harder than MMWs that have gone out of print, even.
