    Nice, but I am so glad I stopped collecting sideshow stuff as that really was costing me a fortune, and the wife hated them, she doesn't mind the comics but the statues were a bridge too far, so they all went apart from one which I will always keep

    It seems to me when people post their collections it seems like either all statues or all books. Are a lot of collectors exclusive for either form of collecting?

    I really don't care about statues but have some action figures displayed, but only bought my favorites, so no superheroes or random movie figures (loads of Doctor WHo, TMNT, Pacific Rim...pics soon).
    I have two friends, one of them loves statues and action figures and collects books as well, although he has a really weird taste. The other wouldn't touch a statue or figure with a stick but buys any book that seems remotely interesting.

    I got a lot of books and prefer them over the status, but when it comes to giant sized villains I cannot resist cannot wait for giant Darkseid.

    I have both statues and books. I have a LOT more books than statues though because those get priority over anything else. If I had more money I would buy more statues

    Statues take up money that should be directed towards books.

    That being said I do have a daredevil statue on the way but that was after convincing may partner that a statue (only one) would be a good thing in our home.

    I agree with this unless you have money to burn. I have statues, but not a lot. three of them are DD's, and a few others. I used to have some Hellboy statues and his giant Hand of Doom, but had to sell them when money was tight.

    I don't think I could ever sell my DD statues.

    I love my DD statues. Here's mine, with my favorite being the 1/4 scale, extremely LARGE DD statue:

    Only one I ever kept is my sideshow FS battle damaged Terminator bust, I did have about 20 big uns at one point, but they took up to much room and (not knocking anyone) I felt a bit childish when I had visitors
