Oh yes i want more of Mary Jane too. Her role was quite less in this issue. I am hoping that this being the first issue is not an indication of her role in the book. By an upgrade what do you mean by that? A new costume or some extra powers or some gadgets. Personally, i dig this white costume. Not a popular opinion i guess.

As far a tech upgrade. something needs to be done so Mj doesn't have to mooch power off Peter. I suggest creating a suit that can clone Peter's powers, using Peter's DNA.

Don’t know why they couldn’t have kept it, even if she’s still called Spinneret and the symbiote can turn itself into the Spinneret costume.

Just have it that when she gets really mad, or if she need extra power, that the suit turns into a more traditional Venom look

I agree about that. While it can lead to some interesting means to increase danger like Spider-man running out of webbing, i don't think it is a good idea. It makes a weird subtext. They shall be stronger together.

I like the costume as well, I know someone on here (can't remember who) has a problem with her hair being in a bun and whilst I admit it's not the best hairstyle I can live with that since she's fighting bad guys and all that.

I love the hair tied into a bun look more then the flowing hair look. But that's just me.

I think she could still do much better .

She looks awesome to me.
But VenomMJ was pretty good too. I was missing the white when she had that Venom suit. Why can't there be both? Back there at Superman i keep making noise about the trunks. And will continue to do so. I say heroes can have a suit which they usually wear. But once in a while they can wear other stuff. I can change clothes according to mood. So, once in a blue moon a change of outfit won't hurt if its not a permanent one. Or would it? I don't know maybe merchandise.

Looks like i am in good company. I have no problems with the flowing hair either. She looks beautiful. But i prefer the tied hair look. I don't think one can hate anything with Mary Jane here. Flowing hair or tied up in a bun, face it MJ fans, we have hit the Jackpot!

Yeah, don't forget why Silk cut her hair. She was grabbed by it by Black Cat. Clawed herself free by bobbing herself. MJ's bun makes that less likely to happen to her.

I don't want too many guest stars, particularly other Spiders, unless they can really add a good dynamic with the Parkers.

If anyone deserves a guest spot in the book, it's the FF.

I really dont want that. I would rather have them focus more on the actual characters. For a title with Spider-man in it I already feel he gets to little screentime/good moments. I would much rather have them have fewer guests of any kind.

I reread the issue today and I stil find it somewhat weak.
I really hope improves, espescially with the art.
