I'd be surprised if she was, to be honest.

Are you thinking of Earth-65 Cindy (who's the leader of Hydra)?
    1. I'm sure someone would've - there's always one LOL
    2. Fair enough, like I said above at least I didn't forget an appearance LOL.
    3. I thought that about Silk when Celgress said that.

If the guest spots were what we got with Wolvie this past issue, used in small doses, it would not be too bad.

A little glimpse of a larger world is all I'm asking.

If the guest spots are moments where late 30s Peter seems like he is 15 then its too much for my taste. I dont like it when Writers like Bendis does it and I dislike it even more when its an older version like here.

Yeah, I don’t know what is up with Marvel and their desire to infantilize Peter. Ugh.

Yeah from just reading it, It was a terrible issue. Everything that was fun and unique about Renew has been taken away for just a paint by numbers book we have seen 100 times before. The time jump seems to have only happened because Jody was not willing to or could not write a child. Combine that with pretty bad art and you have a creative team that has been put on the book to get the plug pulled.

Give it a chance. She’s a good writer and the arts not too bad

The art is pretty weak compared to the first Arc of the series. As for Jody I've never been wowed by her work. It seems to always fall into the okay category for me. With the odd book being bad ( mother panic really disappointed me).

It's an uphill climb but they can win me over if the writing and charm are there. It wasn't present in there first issue but as I said I'll read the first arc.

As far as the writer goes, I'll give her a few more issues as IMO the issue was alright but could've been stronger. As for the art, compared to Stegman it is bad LOL it's not the worst I've seen but it's not that good either in that issue.

I didn't like this with the writing for Pete going on about his age and the art wasn't to my taste at all. I was against the announcement the book would jump ahead 8 years.

What was wrong with Peter feeling his age?

Atleast with 616 I get why they do it, because they want him to remain “youthfull” even if I dont always agree with that, but here where he is atleast late 30s or early 40s it just bugs me. Yeah Spider-girl Peter was too “grown up” at times but I would not mind some of that here.
