    Man, I forgot about Rubinstein. Definitely one of the all time greats.

    Sometimes I like Rubinstein's inks, sometimes I don't, but he's certainly a strong inker. His best inks for me are from the Avengers annual where they team up with Warlock to fight Thanos.

    Akin & Garvey ink Sal Buscema:


    These guys were an amazing inking team back in the 80's. I think they did great things to Sal Buscema's art in Rom, though I understand he felt the pair drowned his pencils in their own style.

    steve epting and tom palmer - this combo was truly stunning
    ron lim and al milgrom - nobody made surfer look as awesome as this duo
    marc silvestri and dan green - their uncanny xmen was the best it ever looked
